This 100
bedded hospital is built in a serene landscape in the campus of Govt.
Medical College, Kozhikode. The institute was inaugurated in 1990 by
the then honourable chief minister Shri.E.K.Nayanar in presence of
honourable health minister Shri. A.C. Shanmughadas.
Since then, the institute has developed phenomenally and at present is
one of the best Chest Diseases departments in South India. Four bedded
ICU was inaugurated in 2002. Stop smoking clinic was inaugurated in
2002. New Outpatient block was commissioned in 2004.
